Network Scanning and other Utilities to install (check all that apply)

Scan to Email: this function gives you the ability to scan documents and send them to other people via email. It does require that you create an eMail account for the Sharp Digital Imager on your eMail server, as to provide authenticated SMTP transmission.

Scan to Desktop: scan to Desktop: This function gives you the ability to scan documents and send them back to your PC for use in a variety of applications. Using this scanning requires the installation of Sharpdesk on the workstations. Sharpdesk only works with Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 or higher and is not available for Mac.

Scan to Network Folder/SMB Scanning - MX Series copiers only: this function allows the copier to send a scan directly to a folder on a network device without having to have an additional software installed or FTP enabled.

PC/LAN Fax: this utility can be loaded on each desktop and with some copiers can also be used as a server based application. It allows users to electronically send documents from their desktop via fax (if the fax option is installed)

Inbound Fax Routing: only available on the MX series copiers and DC series fax machine. This can be set up via the web interface of the device and allow faxes to be routed to email (if the fax option is installed on the MX series)

Account Codes: when enabled this feature requires that each user have their own code to print, scan or copy. It can be utilized for one or multiple of those features and helps you keep track of each users usage of the copier via web interface.

Drivve: Enhanced scanning tools software (must be ordered separately). Drivve requires a server that will run 32 Bit applications, Drivve will only run on a server and will not run on a 64 Bit server.

Image Freeway/Simplyfy Scan: Document storage solution (must be ordered separately).

Netcompass/Print Audit/Print Manager Plus: These products are ordered separately and are used to enhance the Account Codes of the MFP.

We use LDAP Global Address Book If so, please note that we will require a valid Username and Password for LDAP Server Authentication. We will also require the Primary and Secondary DNS Server IP Addresses.

If you are using LDAP please also provide the search string.

Additional Information Needed

For scan to email/file/desktop to be set up we will need to know the following:

Users have administrator rights on their local machine
There are Network Permissions that prohibit file and printer sharing
Our firewall prohibits anonymous SMTP server access
There are file size restrictions on our email server
